   This album is way more jazz than electronic. It sounds like early Prince and Jimmy Hendrix collaborated musically to create a back drop for Butthole Surfer lyrics performed by Spyro Gyro. And that description is an overly simplistic review of a complicated collection of great jazz. This album is in the must listen column.

   Did some research after listening. Thundercat is in the same “music as art” category as Michael Gira of Swans fame. That is rarefied air.
